There is a strong scientific link between our wellbeing and with things going well for us in life
When we identify and capitalise on what's working, and what we're good at and enjoy, rather than trying to fix what's going wrong and is hard, we build the basis of high wellbeing and good outcomes. Quite simply, positive wellbeing leads to success!
Take the world of work for example. The science is telling us that for organisations to really hum and thrive, they have to focus on wellbeing at what HoW calls "Me, We and Us" levels.
These levels of Me, We, and Us can also be integrated. For example, an employee (me) can choose to work on their strengths, a team (we) can choose can focus on team members’ strengths in the deployment of team projects, and the organization (us) can choose to invest in a strengths programme for all employees. HoW's programs specifically target these levels as they are about helping employees to use their strengths, enhance their relationships, and find more meaning and engagement at work so that both employees, managers, teams and the organisation as a whole can achieve their, and its, true human potential.
Beyond the world of work we are interested in a healthier, happier world for all.
The exciting thing is that the things that help us increase our wellbeing are all within us, and are fun and simple to do!
